I guess the question is, if a customer doesn't have an existing Windows 10 VL and a CSP Windows 10 key won't keep activating, what do I sell them?

That said, I feel like at least I got somewhere major with this. I'm wondering if you found or know of whatever document or page they are referencing this? I know Petri is very legitimate but it would be nice to be able to have it in writing somewhere from Microsoft. Thanks.Ī Windows 10 Pro Upgrade VL should cover it.

I've been trying to talk to MS support but it's been 3 weeks and they don't have an answer apparently and keep pushing me off. LIke a previous poster in this thread, I reached out to my distributor and they had no idea how to answer or really what I was talking about. Windows 10 we bought the single upgrade license for all clients so we could deploy. Not sure if anyone is still watching this but I'm wondering if anyone had any luck figuring out which license to use as the "Upgrade" required license for Windows deployment. Hey OP - I'm a bit late to the conversation, but wanted to check to see if you still needed some options when it comes to CSP partners. I think based on my previous knowledge Windows home to pro upgrade was $99.īut I googled the SKU what you provided DG7GMGF0D8H4-0002 and some sites showed up with $49. We do have a reseller from where we usually buy Microsoft licenses from. I don't know if the price savings will be much over the traditional $99 via Microsoft Store method. If you don't already have one that's a CSP partner, you can use CDW or any of the big online retailers. You have to go through a Microsoft reseller.
